Baghdad's Fountain Fixation

Fountains to baghdad are like cobblestone streets to Rome. Since the birth of the city, fountains have played a major role in beautifying the city. This tradition has continued with fountains popping up at roundabouts, squares, restaurants and parks all over the capital in recent years. In late 2011, five floating fountains were installed in the Tigris River in an effort to revitalise the corniche and beautify the city.
