Baghdad's Fountain Fixation

Fountains to baghdad are like cobblestone streets to Rome. Since the birth of the city, fountains have played a major role in beautifying the city. This tradition has continued with fountains popping up at roundabouts, squares, restaurants and parks all over the capital in recent years. In late 2011, five floating fountains were installed in the Tigris River in an effort to revitalise the corniche and beautify the city.

The Restaurant Renaissance

Recent years have seen a resurgence in new quality restaurants in a city where choices were limited during the sanction years. Today, Baghdad offers some of the finest cuisines available ranging from Chinese to traditional Iraqi. Depending on your taste and budget, these restaurants are sure to tempt your taste-buds.
